About the Standards Engage! project

An open and transparent system is a cornerstone of the national and international standards development process and it is essential that engagement with stakeholders takes place. For NSBs to engage effectively with their stakeholders in government, business and civil society is a precondition for the development of standards that are responsive to the national needs.

The objective of this pilot project is to increase effective stakeholder engagement in the standardization work of National Standards Bodies as well as the recognition of the value and benefit of standards by public and private sector stakeholders in developing countries.
