Abstract
This document gives guidelines for the selection and use of water-lubricated plain bearing materials used under fluid lubrication or boundary lubrication conditions. In addition, this document gives guidelines on mating (shaft) materials, lubrication methods and items to consider during design when using water-lubricated plain bearing materials.
